Motaz Omari
Biography
Motaz Omari is a visual artist from Haifa, Palestine. He was born in Damascus, Syria, where he currently works as an artist and teaches visual arts to both children and adults at art centers. He is also a member and exhibitions manager for the union of Palestinian artists.
In 1994, Omari received a diploma in architecture and decoration from UNRWA. In 2000, he received a diploma in fine arts from from the Adham Ismail Institute of Fine Arts, specializing in engraving & printing. Omari was also the student of the late artist Mustafa Al-Hallaj, and a contributor to his work “River of Life” before his passing in 2002.
So far, Omari has held three solo exhibitions: “Human Manifestations” (2017), “Alphabets” (2019), and “Hymns” (2020).
