Tony Seker
Biography
Tony Seker is a contemporary abstract painter whose work explores the interplay between chance and intention, memory and movement. Born in Beirut and shaped by a life lived across cultures, his practice reflects themes of displacement, belonging, and the unseen forces that shape identity. Working with layered color, texture, and gesture, Seker creates dynamic compositions where process remains visible and meaning evolves over time.
He is the founder of Diaspor’Art, an initiative that amplifies the voices of artists affected by displacement and fosters cross-cultural dialogue. His work has been exhibited internationally and featured in several art publications. Seker is also the author of the forthcoming memoir Spin The Globe: The Art of Not Belonging – Finding Home Everywhere, which explores many of the same themes that inform his visual practice.
